All goods are supplied subject the following terms and conditions:
Goods at all times remain the property of the company.
Payment is to be made on or before delivery except when account facilities have been granted by prior arrangement.
The Hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to the goods from time and delivery until they are collected by the Company’s employees. Deliveries left at premises unattended are left at the Hirer’s risk.
Shortages and breakages will be charged for.
Goods may be returned soiled. In which case a washing up charge of 30% of the hire price will be made.
Service is ‘door to door’. Where delivery entails our staff taking goods to specific rooms or having to reassemble equipment after use and extra time is involved, additional charges will be made. The Hirer is responsible for checking goods on delivery.
Charges for delivery and collection will be quoted when an order is made.
Unless the equipment or goods are faulty causing injury to person’s property, we are not liable for any cause of injury caused by use of goods and equipment hired. Particular attention should be paid to surfaces on which boilers, burner rings, hot plates, hot cupboards and bain maries are standing.
Hirers should ensure that they or their representatives are at the delivery address. Wasted journeys may be charged for.
All prices listed are EXCLUSIVE of VAT.
A charge will be made for any packing boxes, carton, etc, not returned.
A refundable deposit against losses and breakages of £20, or 20% approx, will be added to the invoice.
We reserve the right to substitute articles of a similar of superior quality.
We reserve the right to make a charge for orders cancelled, in whole or in part, less than five days before delivery.
We reserve the right to charge interest on outstanding accounts at the rate of 2% interest per month.
The minimum order value, excluding VAT and deposit is £10.00.
Extended Hire Rates:
Friday to Monday charged at one days’ hire only.
2-3 days ... One and a half times one day’s hire.
1 Week ... Twice one day’s hire
2 Weeks ... Four times one day’s hire
3 Weeks ... Five times one day’s hire
4 Weeks ... Six times one day’s hire
Longer periods are subject to negotiation.
